Windham High School is a secondary school offering educational instructional to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students and is a part of the Windham Public School District. Located in Willimantic, Conn., the school provides classes in various subjects, such as applied career and technology, art, English, health, math, marketing, music, physical education, reading, science, social science and world languages. It also provides special education to students with special needs. Its library and media center comprises computer workstations with Internet and online subscription databases services, books, videos, magazines and several newspapers. The school has athletic teams in various sports and it also offers extracurricular activities. Its students organize blood drives sponsored by the American Red Cross.
