K. L. Smith Agency LLC was started in 1953 by Kenneth L. Smith. In 1956, Royden Smith, Ken's brother, purchased the agency and transformed it from a part-time business to a full-time operation. He increased the number of clients substantially over the years and was proud to own an expert insurance agency. In 1978 Roy's son Todd started working at the agency. In 1980 his other son Garth came aboard. Todd and Garth now operate the agency on Roy's philosophy: provide our clients with the best insurance products and personal service at the best price.
