I have good and bad feelings about Short Street. First the GOOD: we a have a few photos that we really like and one that we LOVE. We had Xmas cards made and many friends told us it was the nicest they received. (That being said we supplied the kid and the outfit, which to me is 75% of the photograph.) THE BAD: We hated their business practices, and will seek another photographer in the future. 1- Expect at least 4 trips to the photographer - a meeting, the shoot, a viewing, and pick-up. The photographer was only present for the shoot. 2- the owner-operator insists that all prints and cards be branded. At such a premium price, this is tacky. 3- All prints must be paid in full before she will work on them. 4- You cannot order cards until you reach a certain value in portraits. 5- If you need to order additional cards, you will not get the same bulk rate as your initial order. 6- Cards one-sided and branded on the front. You will get much more value online.
