Founded in 1812, Lycoming College is one of the oldest higher learning institutions in the United States. It provides business administration programs in the areas of finance, marketing and international business. The college maintains a library that offers a range of educational resources and materials. Lycoming College prepares students for careers in planning and managing organizations, as well as for positions in supervision, human resources, health care administration, public administration, management consulting, nonprofit management and entrepreneurship industries. The college offers opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, such as basketball, cross-country, soccer, lacrosse, football, swimming, tennis, wrestling and golf. In addition, it administers several scholar programs.
