I tried to return a Nintendo DS game to customer service and get a refund because the game was defective. I customer service lady basically tried to suggest I had pirated the game and was now trying to return it. All I wanted to do was get a refund, but the only option she gave me was to get another copy of the same game. I went to the electronics department and got another copy and went back to customer service. Before placing the new game in the target bag, the customer service lady tore open the game presumably so I could not try to return the game at another target. This was rude and two times in one target experience I was basically accused of pirating a DS game. I would appreciate hearing from upper management about this before I consult my lawyer (Tex McKinnon in Newtown) about being accused by a customer service representative when all I was trying to do was get a refund for a defective game.
