I had such a great experience at this office. Dr. Schumann treated my skin condition that I have been struggling with for many years. I felt relief within a week! The entire staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a Dermatologist.

Do not go to Dr. Shumann under any circumstances. I wish that I had read the poor reviews before going because I would have known that not standing behind his "product" is standard procedure and he hides his lack of knowledge behind an official title and pretends that his patients are the ones that inept. I am only 30, not noticed a few lines of crows feet near my eyes and fine lines on my forehead, so I scheduled an appointment for Botox. As he was about to inject me, he quickly mentioned that he uses Dysport (I later found out a "generic" of Botox and he advertises Botox Cosmetic on his website). I trusted it was a like product and that a doctor in such a fancy office would certainly not be using a subpar product. I was charged well above average for the procedure, but was still content believing the I went to the "the best." (Although I later learned that Dysport would be cheaper than Botox....so basically I was way overcharged for a lesser product.) I was content and within a couple of days the Dysport began to work and look great. Within 4 weeks, though, it had completely worn off. I called the office and was told to come in immediately. Dr. Shumann examined me and quickly told me that I must be "immune" to Botox and left the room. I was shocked!!! When I complained that I wanted y money back as I was about to leave, his entire staff just stared at me until and finally I was ushered into a separate room. Dr. Shumann finally came in the room after me complaining to the office manager for 40 minutes. He still insisted that "clinically" it was impossible for it be anything other than my body!!! Finally, knowing that I wasn't getting anywhere and that under no circumstances was this arrogant man going to redo the procedure or give me my money back, I left in complete and utter disbelief. When I got home, as I suspected, I looked up to see that the reason for the Dysport not lasting could be related to many things that are usually related to doctor's office fault (not enough product, trying to spread too little product with too much saline in order to charge more money, old premixed product, doctor not understanding that Dysport needs to be injected to a 3 to one ratio to Botox etc). The likelihood that my body is immune is the last on the list (I have greater chances of winning the lottery than me being immune to Botox)!! Dr. Shumann simply doesn't care about his patients and is looking to rake in as much money as possible from unknowing consumers. His office is impressive, but do not be fooled into believing that is is because he is "the best." He overcharges for a subpar service and then refuses to stand behind his work. You're a fool if you go to him!
