General Info

Kay R Womack, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician who joined Ascension Medical Group Via Christi in 1991. She chose medicine after realizing her love of helping children was stronger than the music career she studied and pursued at the time. To her, the most rewarding thing about being a doctor is helping a patient get through a difficult time with understanding and patience. Dr. Womack is a native Wichitan who enjoys music and scrapbooking. Many people don't know that Dr. Womack plays the violin and piano and played with the Wichita Symphony for six years. Someday, Dr. Womack hopes to have the courage to jump out of an airplane.
