Founded in 1917, Durham School Services is a division of National Express Corporation, a transportation company based in the United Kingdom. It provides regular home-to-school, field and charter trip, and summer school and camp transportation services to students, as well as serves children with special needs. The company operates a fleet of more than 11,000 school buses and serves over 300 school districts in nearly 25 U.S. states. Durham School Services is certified by the National Safety Council, Environmental Protection Agency and National School Transportation Association. Additionally, it provides special education programs for students and employees on bus safety.
