I have been buying hay bales from American Ranch and Feed in Whitesboro for some time and had had no complaints up to now other than the exorbitant price of hay. Most recently the 2 "hay" bales supplied were in fact huge bundles of twigs and branches. Some of the branches had a diameter of around 1" so the bales were almost completely inedible. (I have photos for anyone who's interested). My first thought was that American Ranch and Feed had been duped by their supplier, so I called expecting shock and a desire to right the wrong. I was wrong. Their response was that since the bales had been opened ( they opened the bales themselves when they delivered) they would not replace them. I have just completely wasted $190 I can ill afford to lose. Examine your bales of hay well before you pay for them....
