I called Stephens about requesting limo service for transportation from my home to the church for my wedding. Because the ceremony and the reception are at the same location, I did not need any of the "wedding" limo services (champagne, just married signs, etc) and definitely did NOT need the 3 hour minimum (my home and the church are only a few miles apart).I asked Mr. Stephens if there was a way to arrange the trip as a "transfer" rather than a wedding, because the company's three hour minimum doesn't apply to transfers. If he had just told me no, it would have been fine, but he proceeded to tell me very firmly that I wanted services but didn't want to pay for them. I tried to explain that I did not expect any more service than I would get if I was transferring to the airport, but he refused to believe me. At one point he even called me "unethical."Even if I was using a limo, i would NOT use Stephens.
