The Board of Commissioners is the governing and policy-making body that is responsible to develops policies and budget. It comprises of more than five commissioners. The Board of Commissioners is governed by the Newaygo County in Michigan. The county manages administration, community development and equalization departments. It additionally governs administration, animal control, information services, and parks and recreation departments. The county also manages community development department that is responsible for planning and implementing housing programs to improve and preserve the existing housing communities.
