Cub Foods, located on Meadowlands Drive in St. Paul, Minn., is one of more than 110 Cub Foods supermarkets located primarily in the Midwest United States. The store offers patrons a variety of retail bakery, deli, dairy, meat, general grocery, seafood, health and beauty and pharmacy items. It also offers customers specialty services, including film developing, postage and lottery tickets. Cub Foods is a member of the Supervalu family of supermarkets. Supervalu acquired Cub Foods in 1980, when there were five stores in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn., area. Supervalu, based in Minneapolis, ranks among the largest food retailers and food distributors in the United States.
