General Info
Our company is family owned and operated and creates custom engraved signs, personalized rubber stamps and seals locally in Wheat Ridge, CO. We specialize in ADA Braille signs, engraved nameplates and all kinds of name badges, business rubber stamps and embossing seals. Each customer is important to us and we'll work with you personally to help you complete your project in the best way possible. We encourage you to "Think Outside the Big Box Stores" for your custom and signs and stamps and come experience true customer service and quality with us instead. Here's some history about our company: Petersen Specialty was originally established in the late 1950's and owned by Mrs. Martha Petersen in Arvada, Colorado. In 1978 Tom and Carol Dassler purchased the company and moved all the hand-set type, vulcanizers and supplies from her basement to theirs. Within a short time Tom and Carol added a pantograph engraving to the equipment line so they could fill engraved sign and seal order that customers had begun asking for. At that time they moved the business to its first retail location in Arvada, Colorado. Throughout the years we experienced steady growth as we added our first typesetting machine and computerized engraver. Today we operate digitally with a Xenetech computerized rotary engraver, a 60 watt Epilog laser engraver/cutter and a full color sublimation system but we still put all the finishing touches on each order by hand to guarantee the best quality possible. We are now located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado where we all work as a family today. We're still adding new processes and equipment that will continue to help us serve our customers and community with all their marking and sign needs. Thanks for reading!
