If you purchased from Ketelsen, you're good to go. If not......You're HOSED. I purchased my KZ when I was in Nebraska. Twice I've called to see about warranty work. Yes.....warranty work. One was for a minor thing (propane hose) that would take about 3 minutes to change and 5 to pressure test. Both times I was told that because I didn't buy from them they "Might be able to get to me by December or January." and to "Call back later this fall." The other is for a fairly major thing that needs time to order parts and coordination and timing to put it all together. They wouldn't even pencil me in on the calendar or consider looking at my situation, order parts or even have pictures emailed to them until then. Maybe try taking my information and at least start the warranty claim with the manufacturer. Nope.......My options.......contact KZ or schedule it where I bought it.......an 8 + hour drive each way.



Just browsing over the other reviews, this seems to be the standard for their business practices. FYI Ketelsen......when you treat potential customers like this, you will likely NEVER see their business for a major purchase. I, for one won't spend a dime in your store. Imagine the local Ford dealer telling you if you want warranty work done, tow it across the country to where you bought it. We don't have time for you here.



Maybe just put on your website under the "Service" tab or have it in your phone message, that you don't service something that wasn't purchased there. At least then people would have an idea before sitting on hold for 10 minutes before being told they won't help you.



Bad form Ketelsen.......Bad Form.



*Update*.....as for KZ, I spoke to them this morning and they have 2 additional dealerships for Warranty work along the Colorado Front Range. Longmont and Colorado Springs. According to the KZ rep, the lack of service if you didn't buy from Ketelsen is a fairly regular complaint.

Always professional and always knowledgeable. This is the only place we'll go to buy or get serviced since they do such a good job.
