I have been a customer of Pittsburgh Service Center for almost fifteen years and I highly recommend it. It is a family owned business that delivers fast, reliable,knowledgeable and courteous service at very reasonable prices. George, the owner/technician diagnoses the problem, explains the needed repair ,gives a price and if agreed upon, completes the needed repair(s) in a timely fashion with precision and cleanliness. I trust his knowledge of appliances completely as he has repaired my washer, dryer, disposal, oven and refrigerator in the last fifteen years! Very pleased. Terrific response time. I had a problem with a side-by-side refrigerator and food was spoiling. The first positive experience began with just making the appointment. There was a knowledgeable person who could speak intelligently about the problem who answered the phone. It was not like reaching a call center where you talk to someone who doesn't speak English. Then I had a technician at my house in less than two hours. The "walk-in" charge is definitely reasonable. The tech went the extra mile to get my fridge up and running again although it could have been a total loss. The tech was VERY knowledgeable. The problem was was thoroughly explained and the fix was thoroughly explained. I would definitely call again.
Exceptional, exceptional service!!! Arrived within 4 hours of the call and was very friendly. Quickly explained what repairs were necessary, how they would be done and the cost. Also took the time to demonstrate how to do the repair (something I would never try) in case I ever wanted to save money. Overall, the quality was excellent, the price was reasonable and he saved us >$700 which is what a new washer would have cost. Total time to repair was 30 minutes: the complexity of the repair was around a 7-8. Very highly recommended. David Saenz

Very pleased. Called them and they explained up front what the trip charge was (not bad at all) and that I would be given an estimate and at that point I could decide whether or not the fridge was worth repairing and if I decided not to repair then I would only owe the trip charge . They came out same day to my house in in Cranberry Township. Just as I was told on the phone, they explained in advance what the problem was and how much it cost giving me the option to either repair it or pay the very reasonable trip charge. I needed new relay switches and the repairman George had them on the truck. Since the price was agreeable and well worth not having to buy a new fridge I got the repair. The repairman George fixed it and fridge is working again. I don't usually do reviews but I think this company deserved the extra time it took. What also impressed me is that I only work 10 minutes from home and George was willing to call me 10 minutes out. Anna F.

The serviceman (George) came by within 3 hours of my call, and was VERY informative and knowledgable. He let me know what was wrong, how to fix it and what I could do in the future. He was very friendly and the price was reasonable. He even gave me advice on another appliance brand that they do not service and who I could call. I STRONGLY recommend this company.
The serviceman was very efficiant and told me that it could be one of two things but because the refrigerator started to work again he could not guess which one was going bad. So he suggested that I just wait and see if it happened again. He could have told me that it was both of those things and charged me for them. I really appriciated that.
