They own the Osterman store in toledo. They will not acknowledge an error on their part and add the service package to my Leo solitaire and anniversary ring. I purchased 2 anniversary rings and the solitaire all at one time and only 1 anniversary had the service package added to it. I have purchased over $13,000 in jewelery from them and most certainly would not have done it to the other 2 pieces. Now they want me to pay them $200 to have it added. I was told that yes it was not fair by a manager and then he told me that I should understand that life was not fair and they would not honor the agreement. Guess is better to not give the customer the benefit but to loose them as a customer. Terrible customer service from the store, on line and on the phone!

I was surprised at the lack of good customer service to a long serving customer. Sterling jewelers would not refund my money on an item my wife did not want, I EVEN HAD THE RECEIPT!!! I have severed my ties with sterling jewelers and have told family members that were also regulars. In todays economy I would expect better customer service to keep your customers. When I expressed these thuoghts to the owner, he showed me that he did not care. SO LONG STERLING JEWELERS!

Disappointing! I have to say that I really found my experience at Sterling Jewelers very upsetting and will not be returning there. Based on my conversation with the owner he gave me the impression he could care less whether I return or not! As a result they lost a good customer and I will share my experience with others.
