We went in about 11:30A.M. and was acknowledged (not greeted) by a very masculine female. (She) greeted us with a question "do you want to wait to be seated here or do you want to sit there". We were on a schedule so opted for the "get served now" room. We ordered a couple of breakfast items. After 42 minutes we finally asked our server what the eta of our food would be as my husband had to go to work. She went to check on it. After 15 additional minutes she brought back our two orders. The absolute worst food. My crepes were bone dry with 2 slices of melted cheese on the tops- not drizzled cheese sauce. Dry, over-cooked and flavorless. No fruit, no garnish- just dry potatoes. My husband's toast was so cold the butter clumped- We're professionals and eat out at least 2 X per week We have tried Mimi's at The Orchards in the past and were turned off by the food and service several years ago. We thought we would give it another try and unfortunately will never go back.

It's expensive for what they offer. Food is fine.

Mimi's is a chain that focuses on southern, comfort-type food. I don't often go there, but it's favorite of my mother's so I've found myself there twice recently for brunch. As a vegetarian, I'm disappointed in their menu choices and end up getting the same omelette; it's tasty enough though and they always bring the extra side of salsa I request. Their kids menu is pretty dull; just a few choices. Overall, not my favorite and the atmosphere leaves something to be desired, but it's doable. Just not my first choice. The upside is that it's family-friendly to accommodate our toddler.
