Packard Machinery Co was established in 1942 by Wendell Packard Sr. At that time "PMC" was the sole distributor in the North East for South Bend Lathes and other associated products. A healthy market share was established by placing emphasis on service and support capabilities, a strategy that is still strictly followed to this day. In 1975 Wendell Packard Jr., who had already been active in the company for a number of years, took over the management of the company when his father retired. "PMC" continues to grow its Product Line because of our Solid Reputation in Sales & Service. This allows us the pleasure of offering our customers the Best Lines of Machinery in the World.
