Cowanesque Valley Junior/Senior High School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and recreational programs for students in grades 7 through 12. It is comprised of two distinct units, Senior High and Junior High. Cowanesque Valley Junior/Senior High School is a public institution that serves more than 370 students. It offers classes in English, social studies, mathematics, science, art, music, health science, computer technology and physical education. The school also imparts instruction in homemaking practice, agricultural experimentation and research studies. Its facilities are spread over an area of nearly 30 acres and include classrooms, laboratories, student activity centers and conference rooms. The school is a part of the Northern Tioga School District, which governs high, middle and elementary schools.
