The Transportation Department provides a range of transportation services to the students of Westerville City Schools, a school district that operates several elementary, middle and high schools in Ohio. It offers a range of academic and extracurricular opportunities to students. The Transportation Department operates a fleet of more than 120 school buses and over 110 route buses. It keeps nearly 15 buses in reserve and operates approximately 35 other maintenance and transportation vehicles. The department maintains a team of transportation and fleet managers and student safety and discipline personnel. The Transportation Department also employs several assistant managers.
