Westby Area School District serves the educational needs of students in grades kindergarten through 12. Located in Westby, Wis., the school district offers a variety of educational and extracurricular programs for its students. It governs Westby and Coon Valley elementary, Westby middle and Westby high schools. Its curriculum includes English, language art, social studies, science and technology, health education, mathematics, business studies, computer science, fine arts, music, and physical education. It has a fully equipped library and a cafeteria. The district offers various sport programs, such as golf, softball, football, cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, baseball, wrestling, and athletics. It organizes various events and its Westby Area Alumni and Friends of Athletics work to improve athletic facilities for students.
