Park Avenue School is a public institution that provides education and enrichment services to students in grades one and two. It provides instructional programs that focus on development of literacy and understanding of basic mathematical concepts. It additionally provides a dual language program and classes in reading and math enrichment. It also has a library and computer laboratories. Its library provides a large collection of children s books, audiovisual resources and Internet access. The school additionally offers programs in other subjects, such as art, music, physical education, science and social studies. It also provides athletic and extracurricular activities and food services. The school is a part of the Westbury Public Schools and is located in Westbury, N.Y.
