Founded in 1982, Advanced Interconnections was the innovator of the world's first removable terminal carrier. The company is a manufacturer of IC sockets and adapters for ball grid array package devices. Its patented eutectic solder ball terminals have earned recognition as a preferred solution for proven long-term performance in vigorous temperature cycling applications. In addition to the BGA socketing systems, Advanced Interconnections designs and manufactures a wide variety of sockets and adapters for semiconductors in power grid array, dual inline packet and station information packet packages, as well as a line of board-to-board connectors and adapters for test, production, emulation and package conversion applications. Advanced Interconnections maintains headquarters in West Warwick, R.I.
