Hunter Elementary School serves more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school provides a flexible academic program with emphasis on the development of basic learning and thinking skills. Hunter Elementary School offers a variety of special programs, including speech and language and accelerated reader. It provides academic classes in computer applications, life skills, physical education, math, science, social studies, music and art. In addition, the school organizes various athletic activities, including baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, football, and track and field. It is a part of the Granite School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Hunter Elementary School is located in West Valley City, Utah.
