Since 1954, Plastic Packaging Corporation, a privately owned business, has manufactured injection-molded plastic containers. The company offers a line of durable, high-performing tubs and containers that meet the United States Food and Drug Administration and the Milk Shipping industry standards. It also produces containers for non-food applications, such as toys, casino cups and clothing items. Plastic Packaging produces millions of plastic food containers annually in its 100,000-square-foot facility. Its range of products includes tamper resistant containers, hot and cold take-out containers, supermarket containers and food processing containers. The company employs more than 100 people and is headquartered in West Springfield, Mass.
