General Info
FOUR THINGS SOME SCOOTER STORES DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW! How much will it cost to ship my scooter? If you buy from an online store and your scooter doesn't work, expect to pay $400 to $600 to ship it back. Who will do routine maintenance on my scooter? Not all scooter stores have a full service repair and maintenance shops. Be sure you buy from a store who has a local repair shop. How will I know what I'm buying? You wouldn't buy a car with out test driving it so why would you buy a scooter from a brochure or internet picture? Who can I trust to sell me the right scooter at a great price? It is best to buy from a reputable scooter store with a large selection of scooters. Be sure you are properly fitted by a professional for your new scooter. Some drug stores and box stores will display one or two cheap scooters that don't last very long and have frequent repair issues. Be aware of stores selling used or demo scooters. Most of these scooters come from garage sales and have major repair issues
