Joel Barlow High School serves students in grades nine through 12, and is located in West Redding, Conn. It offers several subjects, such as mathematics, English literature and composition, chemistry, science, social studies, and business and physical education. The science department offers various subjects, including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth and forensic science. It also provides various extracurricular classes in arts, music and drama.
