Operational since 1959, Lightning Electric is a full-service electrical contractor that designs and builds electrical systems. It offers test equipment for infrared hot-spot testing, ground megging, computerized diagnostic system surveys and general safety inspections. The company provides bucket truck services, as well as fiber-optic cabling systems. Lightning Electric works on projects related to marinas and docks, banking and financial institutions, low- and high-rise buildings, and medical, educational and religious facilities. Its projects include the Pine Ridge, Charter Club, Springbrook Commons and Fair Oaks Hospital. Lightning Electric is affiliated with the Electrical Council of Florida, International Association of Electrical Inspectors, and National Electrical Contractors Association.
