My phone line was cut during a burglary. Alarmclub sells me a cellular uplink that cost over $400 and within 6 months I'm warned via a telephone call that cell towers don't have to carry that uplink's frequency and I would have to purchase another...oh, at their cost $200, a big discount. I've shopped around and everyone in the industry said you people at Alarmclub should have known. You should have given me a new phone my decietful friends and you would have kept my business, but you didn't make it right-You're Fired! I suggest the public shop somewhere else. I got my new uplink for free. Most of the other companies sell the cellular back-up for $200. I feel violated and I feel like I was robbed twice.
Unfortunately the alarm industry had to make this mandatory switch from analog radios to digital radios which in some cases makes older equipment like yours obsolete. Like a analogue televisions the sunset date on analog cellular radios for security systems took much longer than anticipated to go into effect. Due to the unfortunate timing, the cellular towers made changes which was out of our control as they no longer wanted to maintain old technology. The Alarm Club has been monitoring my house alarm for over 20 years. I have never had any issues with the company and it is a pleasure dealing with their employees. Steve is always available to help with any issue that may arise. And of course you can't beat their $15 a month monitoring. If you have an alarm I highly suggest you join the club!
I was having problems with internal theft at my auto repair shop. I chose AlarmClub to install a security camera system. The system allows me to view my shop from any internet connection. I was able to record one of my employees in the act of stealing from my business and was able to use the recorded video to not only fire the employee but also to press charges against them. The equipment installed by the AlarmClub was very sophisticated but also very user friendly, I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a real professional security company.
