Very poor customer service!

Beautiful shop. But ... my friend asked about getting the sale coupon I had been given a week ago,and was denied. The owners son said to us 'The greed is getting out of hand. This is just greedy. Would you do this to my mom if she was here?' We were shocked! Another customer offered her coupon to my friend and he told her 'No, you can't do that!' I have been in here a few times, and each time have encountered arrogance, especially with the cashier, to the point of being uncomfortable. Today was the last time. Beautiful shop, beautiful merchandise. I will find what I need anywhere else but here.
Our postcard program is mailed to customers who are currently active in our register system. This postcard coupon was mailed out to our entire mailing list and we did not keep many extras on hand. This person had been given a postcard originally and then brought back her friend. When we gave her the postcard originally, we explained this promotion was for our mailing list only and we didn't have very many extras. We are sorry she feels the way she does, but we do reward our customers through a loyalty program in which customers remain active each year. If information is not updated regularly, or if customer accounts have gone without activity those accounts are purged from the system.
