Incorporated in 1981, Atlas Excavating is a family-owned construction company that offers water main line and sanitary and storm sewer installation and construction services. With more than 135 people, it specializes in horizontal directional drilling, hydro-excavation, and highway grading and paving services. Atlas Excavating works to meet the reconstruction and infrastructure development needs of its clients, including municipalities, military divisions, private developers, and federal soil, water and transportation departments. It is certified as a Women Business Enterprise by the Indiana Department of Administration. The company undertakes a variety of private and state and federal public works construction projects. Atlas Excavating is located in West Lafayette, Ind.
