Established in 1979, Meadowbrook Waldorf School is accredited by the state of Rhode Island as an independent school and is a member of the Independent Schools Association of Rhode Island. The school serves more than 170 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes foreign languages and practical and fine arts. Meadowbrook Waldorf School also features music and drama clubs. The school conducts early childhood and parent education classes. It offers social, emotional and physical support for students with developmental disabilities. Meadowbrook Waldorf School additionally organizes school fairs, workshops and parent-teacher conferences. The school is located in West Kingston, R.I.
