The administration office personnel aren't very helpful and they aren't very cordial in their dealings with the adults that come into the office for assistance. They think they are better than anyone that goes in there. It is a very hostile environment, to say the least

Joel p is a Terrible school. I was an straight A student in the beging of seventh grade. Then around the middle of the school year. I found out HALF of the student body were doing drug and skipping class. Of course I wanted to fit in so I did some too. During my seventh grade I was turned from a straight A student who almost always got on honor roll to a bad student who was failing every class. Me and my "friends" used to ditch class and smoke every day, the teachers didn't care. My parent were never even contacted even though I had miss a total of 124 classes in my school year. There is almost always illegal substances on campus.there are even drug dealer there and I know from personal expirence. I would never recommend Joel p to anyone. This year, 4 students were suspended for DRINKING in the bathroom.. I know these students personally and they don't only drink. More than 3/4 of the student population is like this. The principal and teachers don't care if you ruin your life there.
