Catherine Beck, MD, performs general and bariatric surgery. Her care philosophy is to treat the whole patient, not just individual symptoms. Dr. Beck works with a wide range of conditions ranging from appendicitis and colon cancer to gallbladder disease and morbid obesity.Dr. Beck earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin Madison and went to medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where she also completed an internship and residency in general surgery. Dr. Beck went on to complete a fellowship in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at the University of California - San Diego.Outside the operating room, Dr. Beck enjoys hiking, skiing, training in jiu-jitsu, and spending time with her husband, kids and dogs.
