I shopped around a radon mitigation system a couple of years ago, but didn't decide to get one installed until recently. Bob Hoaglin was one of my first estimates and he was the first call I made when I wanted a system installed. Aside from being a genuinely kind person, he was extremely thorough in his evaluation of my home, noting concerns that no other contractor even mentioned. His communication through the process was great, letting me know in advance if he was running late. All this and he was also the lowest price in town! The day of the installation, he was on time and let me know exactly what was happening throughout the process. Other contractors wanted to route the vent pipe up the outside of the house, but Bob proposed a solution that hid the pipe in the corner of a closet and went up through the attic. I couldn't be happier with the installation and it lowered my radon levels well below the EPA action level. Thanks, Bob!
Worst $250 I've ever spent. Would not do a walk-through with us. Handed us a binder and told us to read it through first before asking him any questions and never left his chair. Missed several serious structural and plumbing issues which were in plain view. We would not have purchased the home had we known of them.
