Located in West Haven, Conn., West Haven High School is a secondary school that educates students in grades nine to12. It offers courses in a wide range of subjects, including business, family and consumer sciences; mathematics; music; physical education and social studies. It also offers programs in technology and special education. The school has a library and media center, digital editing studio, allied health and rehabilitation center, and counseling department. It organizes theater workshops, athletic programs and various sports competitions. Its rehabilitation center offers injury management, athletic nutrition, strength, flexibility and conditioning programs, and injury prevention services. The school also offers courses in Spanish and English languages. Its counseling department organizes fairs and provides various career counseling services. The school is approved by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and is a part of West Haven School District.
