KX Industries, located in Orange, Conn., operates the world s largest solid-state extrusion facility for the production of activated carbon filters. Its capabilities include industrial design, injection molding and automation and tooling. Formed in 1989, as a limited partnership between Exxon Chemical Corporation and KT Corporation, KX Industries is one of the world's leaders in the production of extruded activated carbon products for water and air filtration. The company is a non-competitive partner to more than 100 OEMs and does not sell or distribute its product direct to retail.
