It has more than 300 employees who serve the commercial, education, government, health care and industrial markets. The firm, with a location in West Des Moines, Iowa, also has offices in other parts of Iowa and Illinois. Founded in 1895, Shive-Hattery provides planning, engineering, interior design, surveying and roof consulting services. Its architectural services include master planning, space programming and building design. The firm s roof consulting services include patio designs, repairs, inspections and construction observations. Shive-Hattery also offers landscape architecture services that include conservation of intrinsic natural and cultural resources and maintenance of earth forms, roadways and paths.
