My husband and I took our very sick Colby pit bull that has been in our family for 6 years, who was like our child, to this animal clinic on May 26 2017, because our Vetinarian Dr Wagner was not available. So we started calling around to find a clinic that would examine him. However when we called the Animal Clinic on Springs rd for the appt the receptionist was very rude and treated my husband very disrespectful. They only had a 430 appt available so we took it because our dog was so sick. When we got there the ladies at the front desk were so rude and mean to us. We asked a vet tech for some water for our dog but to no avail. When the vet tech examined him she was not compassionate at all for our baby. She acted like she could care less that our baby was sick. Then the Veterinarian came in and I don't know how this heartless man got a degree to take care of animals that he acts like he hates. He treated our dog like he was an outcast and I am not sure why. He missed diagnosised him. Didn't even pull a blood panel on him and said that they were closing and we may want to take him to the emergency hospital. We never got any advice or instructions on how to treat our dog who he thought may have a spider bite or a snake bite, but wasnt sure. They gave him predisone and an antibiotic and missed the bite on his leg that my husband had to point out to the Vet. They made us hold our dog up on the table for 30 minutes when he couldn't even stand up he was so sick. When we left we said thank you to the staff twice and no one responded. Well our dog died several hours after we left there. We have never been treated so poorly in all our years of rescuing pit bulls. It was a major disgrace to our family and the breed of the Colby pit bull. We are personal friends with the Colby family who started this breed in 1889. We would not recommend this clinic no matter what. We will be informing the better business buearu, the news paper, all our family and friends in the community.

They are very friendly and professional. My pit-bull puppy got parvo and after calling a few vets around the average cost for parvo is 1200 to 1500 dollars which was out of my price range and in one final attempt to save my baby I called Platt Springs Animal clinic and their price was 300. I took them to them and with no surprise it was 300 even with no hidden fees. I will be a repeat customer and will bring my other dogs there. Best place around and they really care about the family's and there pets.

I have known Beth and Dr Mike for 16+ years. I met them when taking a new Bichon puppy for a chek up and shots. They and their staff are all friendly and as sympathetic and caring for my pets as I am. I would not take my pets anywhere else as long as they are availble. They will be honest with you about your pet's condition and prognosis and offer you advise on the best treatment. This is a great place to take your pet if is in need of vet. services. I have seen only one negative review. This must have been from someone who did not give their own animal good care at home and was given advise on how to do better. Dr Mike and the staff are all incredibly gifted! Always greets with warm smiles, cheery attitudes and compassion. They dote over my furr baby every visit and she just loves the attention, so she always has good visits, which keep me happy as a customer. Service is efficient, we never wait long to be seen even if we are late getting there...i like that! And when I see other happy pets and owners on every visit,I know I have found the right place for the care of my baby. Highly recommended!!!

I just got back from Platt Springs Rd Animal Clinic and I couldn't be happier. I took my kitten in to be checked up on. When we took him to the back room every person who worked there took the time to check out Triton (my cat) and say hi and tell me how rotten but cute he was. Everyone was really nice and the price was affordable. They talked about their pets and just made us and Triton comfortable. I was very happy to have gone there and will be going there from now on. I recommend this clinic to anyone who truly cares for the pets.

I have been taking my animals to this clinic for the past 5 years or so and have never been disappointed in the services I have received for my pets. They treat my pets as I do - just like my babies! Thanks to the entire staff for such wonderful commitment to animals.

Well, it looks like I have to be the first to write a review about how this place really is...of course, it's just my own personal experience. We have NEVER had a good experience here. We took our dogs 3-4 times only because we had good friends who worked there. They don't make you feel comfortable with them at all and after 4 times of correcting the doctor on our dogs name he STILL continued to say it wrong. They are rip offs and be careful because they are VERY quick to judge you. So much as to she shook her head and rolled her eyes at us. They give TERRIBLE service and we will NEVER EVER use them again. If you decide to go, I really hope that they do not make you feel like they made my fiance and I feel. After everything that we had been through they managed to make us feel so much worse and I really don't feel that your vet(someone you should trust) should make you feel like that. GOOD LUCK

They saved my doberman/great danes life. We were going to a vet who kept saying his cancer was an infection, it got to 21lbs and we drove up to SC to see Dr. Mike. They amputated his leg the very next day. Dozer is so much happier and has so much life left in him. Dr. Mike & his team are truly angels and I am forever grateful to them. You know they honestly care about animals and they treat them like their own with lots of love and affection.

I have been using this clinic for my pets for many years and have never been disappointed. And even though I've moved much further away from them, to me and my pets, it's well worth the drive to continue going there. It's not just a business to them...they really care about your pet and you!

These people are angels on earth! If you live anywhere near the area, they should be your vet!

I am a breeder very serious about my work. I have never encountered such helpful advice and care as when I went to this vet by recommendation. They too extra time for me and never rushed me out the door. I can tell that with heir help, my breeding practices will only improve. Their prices are outstanding but what gets me the happiest is their care for what is best for not only the dog but for be as a breeder.
