BEWARE! I purchased the home of Tammy, the owner of Gene Love Plumbing. I purchased this home less than 2 months ago. Day 2 of living there I realized Tammy had lied on the SC Disclosure Statement regarding two major items! Flat out lied! I didn't expect such dishonesty considering the source. BEWARE! I wouldn't do business with someone so dishonest.

Ryan McConnell was an absolute pro. He was very professional, polite, explained the plumbing problem in detail, and walked me though what had to be done to correct the problem. I had been very anxious and he was able to assure me that the problem would be fixed. I have used Gene Love for other plumbing problems and Mr. McConnell is one of the best technicians I have dealt with.

Brandon was excellent! He came as promised and fixed my problem right away, with the utmost courtesy and competence.

Corey W. was one of a two-man crew that removed a 2005 Heil 5-ton gas pack HVAC unit and replaced it with a new one in two and a half hours, They had to cut a chain fence to get the old unit out and the new unit in, and replaced that as well. They explained what they were doing every step of the way, answering any questions and concerns I had, and were cheerful in spite of the challenges of the installation and the intense heat. I was grateful for their being so professional and easy to talk to at the same time, and impressed by their efficiency and customer service.

While having a repair to my toilet Gary noticed as he past my hot water heater that there was a leak in it. My first thought was yea more work, but he was right it actually had a large leak causing the top to start rusting through. It was only a matter of time before it would cause damage. When I said I never noticed it he said that was his job to make sure he saw those things. Another Pluming company has been by that same hot water heater several times within the past six months and never noticed it. I wish I could add a picture to show what everyone else missed and how bad it was. Gary was able to replace my gas water in no time. He and a helper removed and installed my hot water heater within hours. They were fast very professional and did it at a very reasonable price. The installation took a lot of work and at 99 degrees but they never slowed down. I would recommend Gary and Gene Love Pluming, Air and Electrical to anyone. Thanks Gary

It was the first time we have needed a plumber since moving to the Columbia area. I had seen the commercials on television and when I checked the BBB they were ranked high so I gave them a call. David B arrived a few hours after I made the call. He was very courteous and identified the problem immediately. He suggested an upgrade to our leaking garbage disposal. I went to Lowe's and bought one and then called and had David install it. It was 100 dollars cheaper than having them provide the garbage disposal and I wasn't pressured into using them. The new garbage disposal is wonderful. I would definitely would recommend Gene Love and David B to anyone who needs a plumber. And don't forget they give both military and AARP discounts, but not both at the same time.

I was very pleased with service I received from Jeff P. He was very professional, explained all that needed to be done, and cleaned up everything very nicely before leaving. I will definitely ask for Jeff if and when I need future plumbing done.

I highly recommend Mr.Ed Russell for any pluming needs that you can have , he was courtesy ,and honest and very friendly and he did an excellent job on my pluming needs we are very pleased with the work he done . Jerry Freezon came when I asked, reviewed my problem, and offered several options.I appreciated his prompt response and his desire to help me. I am renovating my kitchen, and have many questions which he answered.

I was on well water for a long time and had many plumbing problems that needed to be taken care of in my house.lMy service specialist, Jeff Pridgen, walked me through each set of problems that needed to be taken care of in and out side of the house. He gave me an estimate of what the job would cost. We talked over what needed to be done right away. He was friendly, courteous and he finished the job 30 mintues ahead of schedule.He explained everything about the job and let me ask questions, lots of questions. I was very pleased with the work that was done and I don't know which I'm more excited over, the new tiolets or the new sinks! I would definitely recommend Gene Love Plumbing. They also have a really great service plan that Jeff told me about that I also purchased. Awesome work and great people doing the work. A Big Thanks to Aaron M. for brining a smile back to my wife's face. Early today we had the plumbing under our kitchen sink disconnect while the dishwasher was running. My wife called me in a panic declaring that water was pouring out from everywhere. I advised her to cut off the water under the sink which she did and the crisis was mitigated. However, she remained a very unhappy lady until Aaron appeared like a knight in shining armor to restore peace in the land of Acree. Now the Acree clan lives in peace and harmony once again due to the excellent work, courteous manner and confident demeanor of Sir Aaron; Chivalry lives on through Gene Love. Was told that tech. would arrive for the service between 10am - 1200 noon, tech. did not arrive until 2:00 pm, wasted 4 hours from work. Also was told we would not be charged for the service charge of $67.50, was charged, and finally requested that tech check the freon while he was here was told that he could not do it because it was raining at the time, if he showed up on time this issue would have been addressed. Would not recommend Gene Love in Columbia, S.C..

Daniel Davis was our service specialist called out to fix a continuously running toilet. He was more than prompt, he we EARLY (better for us!). He was polite, neat, knowledgeable, and fixed the problem effeciently. Daniel diagnosed and fixed another shower temperature gauge problem "in stride" of providing information on the myriad of services that Gene Love Plumbing offers. I am certain that we will call on them again -- they are trustworthy and professional. The cost was reasonable for a quality job done right the first time.
