We needed to find a supportive living facility in July of 2009 for my wife's 87 year old mother. Franciscan Court had an intimate feel to it with only about 70 residents and we could see that it had a personal touch that appeared to be the rule rather than the exception. The staff seemed to have great attitudes and to really enjoy their jobs interacting with the residents. The building was new and designed by the owners, Zack and Rene Caulkins based on their experience in the field of over 25 years. After 2 1/2 years our experience has confirmed our first impressions and has exceeded what we hoped Franciscan Court would be for my mother-in-law. Zack and Rene, who is also a nurse, are hands-on owners and involved in everyday operations. There are no other supervisors or layers of management between them and the residents. They kept their promises to us that they would be putting in a back up power generator and Wander Guard. They have given our family peace of mind. The Campbells

Before placing our mother in an assisted living facility we did extensive research of most of the facilities in the general area. We chose Franciscan Court because it gave us everything we were looking for (large rooms, attached bathrooms, smaller population (she is 98 and did not want to be confronted with large numbers of people) It is a new building with pleasant decor and a very friendly staff as well as healthy, nutritious meals. The cost also was a factor and Franciscan Court can easily compete with other facilities in the area. She came to Franciscan Court in October of 2011. After a period of adjustment she is now settled and very pleased with her surroundings. We visit her everyday and have the opportunity to meet the staff and make note of how the facility works. We are very happy to see the dedication the staff shows. They are always friendly and eager to help. The owners as well, show a personal interest in the treatment of our mother. My Mom has been a resident of Franciscan Court for 1 years. Mom is private pay and in a studio unit. She absolutely loves her room. I always hear how well the staff takes care of her. Ive seen how the staff interacts with the other residents. They are always very polite and professional. The facility is very clean and well maintained. There is a lot to be said about a family run business. The owners are always around and they make everyone feel welcome. Were glad we chose Franciscan Court. Keep up the good work!

Outstanding service, best of the best. We had been few a through homes, and they saved us! Outstanding!!!

They are listed with the Better Business Bureau as a an Apartment Finding & Rental Service, not listed as an Assisted or Supported Living Facility for Seniors. They are NOT members of the Better Business Bureau, nor the Chamber of Commerce. The lack of Residents personal privacy, activities, and are not nurturing, nor do they encouraged dignity and independence as stated in their brochure. Privately owned in this instance is not a good thing. Understaffed and seemingly run by intimidation.
