- Business DisputesANITA G. LOZANO was born in Weslaco, Texas. In 1984 she graduated from Pan American University, Edinburg, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. In 1987 she earned her J. D. degree from the University of Texas, Austin, and was admitted to the Bar. Anita's areas of practice include farm, ranch, commercial and residential real estate, business law and probate.*

Services include products liability, defense of civil rights cases brought against municipalities, schools and private businesses, employment matters related to public and private employment and defense of banks in lender liability and related banking cases. - Construction LitigationLance is a member of the Hidalgo County Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. Lance served as a director for the Hidalgo County Bar Association from 2007-2009, chairing the HCBA Charitable Golf Tournament. Lance served on the State Bar of Texas Court Rules Committee from 2008-2011. His major areas of practice include commercial litigation, construction law, and general civil litigation. Lance was selected a 2006 Rising Star in business litigation.
- Real Estate TransactionsMATTHEW L. JONES grew up in Donna, Texas, and graduated from Donna High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, in 1991 and received his J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law, Dallas, in May 1995. Matthew joined the Firm on a full-time basis in August, 1995. His major areas of practice include commercial real estate transactions, commercial lending transactions, construction matters, business planning, and other business oriented matters.*
- Personal InjuryAlex joined the firm’s litigation team with a history of courtroom experience. He spent the majority of his career as a prosecutor: First for the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office in the misdemeanor and then felony division; then, as a federal prosecutor at the United States Attorney’s Office in McAllen, Texas. Alex also spent some time at the Law Offices of Michael M. Guerra in McAllen, Texas where he practiced personal injury litigation specializing in car accident and trucking accident cases. He is licensed to practice in Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
