Operational since 1977, Save-A-Lot has been one of the largest grocery chains in the United States. The store offers a variety of products under categories, such as dairy/eggs, frozen food, snacks, cereals/breakfast, breads/baking and baby needs, among others. Based in Wentzville, Mo., it operates over 1,200 stores spanning from Maine to California, serving more than 4 million shoppers. The store makes available brands, including Kaskey's, Ginger Evans, Port Side and Shaner's, to name a few. Save-A-Lot is a subsidiary of SUPERVALU, a Fortune 100 company and one of the largest companies in the United States' grocery channel.
