Boone Trail Elementary School is a public, coeducational institution that provides educational and enrichment programs for students in prekindergarten to grade five. It provides courses in various subjects, including language arts, math, science, social studies, music and physical education. It also provides a gifted and talented program known as Horizons. The early childhood special education program provides a full range of early intervention services to help children with disabilities develop language, motor and learning skills. The school also offers special programs, such as Parents as Teachers, Chautauqua before and after school program, independent learning centers, summer school program and drug abuse resistance education programs. It also provides a media center that provides a large collection of books and electronic resources. The school also offers transportation and nutritional services. It also provides various extracurricular activities. Located in Wentzville, Mo., the school is a part of the Wentzville School District.
