Founded in 1982, Dovex Export Company is a producer of apples, pears, organics, cherries and stone fruits. The company produces more than 6 million cartons per year. The company manages the growth, selection, packaging, storage and shipment of its fruit, the majority of which is company-owned or managed. The balance of its production volume is contracted with independent growers. The company operates several subsidiaries, including Dovex Fruit Company, which is the company s packaging, storage and shipping facility; Dovex Marketing Company, which is the exclusive sales organization for the Dovex Fruit Company; Dovex Orchards, which consists of more than 3,900 acres; Dovex Export Company and Dovex Organics, which packs Dovex products with the use of organically dedicated equipment. Dovex Export Company is headquartered in Wenatchee, Wash.
