Wellsville Elementary School is governed by the Unified School District 289, and offers classes from grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes phonetic learning of English language, science, Spanish, social studies, mathematics, performing and visual arts, and music. It also provides field trips and choir programs, and various extracurricular activities, including volleyball, basketball, football and softball. The elementary school has a fully equipped library and computer laboratory, and also provides various after school programs. The school has a parent-teacher organization to support the work of the school system, including enrichment programs, special events and projects.
