I needed a company to do maintenance work on my swimming pool, so I stopped in to visit with the owner of the company to see if she had availability and how much it would be.

She told me that the cost of the service was $110 per month, exclusive of chemicals. She told me that I had to purchase the chemicals from them (which were much higher than any other pool store in the area) and that they would use the chemicals that I purchase to maintain my pool. When I asked for an average cost, she told me that it could range from $50 to $300 per month for just chemicals. I told her that I needed an average amount so I could budget accordingly, and the lady told me that I probably should have thought about that when I got the pool put in. That was rude!

I explained that I run my house on a budget, and she told me that she also runs her business on a budget, which is why she has been doing it that way since 1984. Then she impolitely told me that I didn't have to do business with her and that I could just tell her no, and that she had 80+ customers who were happy doing business with her just the way she was. I don't know how she could be successful with that kind of attitude. Her customers must either have a lot of money and a little bit of brains or be so used to doing business with her that they do not compare prices.



When I compared the retail prices in her store with two other retailers, I found that she was 25 - 40% higher on basic chemicals and accessories. I don't believe that I will be doing business with this lady, nor would I recommend her. I gave her 2 stars because of the employees. He gets one half star for herself.
