Latimer Lane School, located in Weatogue Conn., is a part of the Simsbury Public School District. It is an elementary school that provides a safe and learning environment for more than 600 students in grades kindergarten through six. It works collaboratively with parents in various programs that enhance the educational experience of the students. Its subject areas include art, computer education, language arts, family and consumer science, math, music, physical education, science, social studies, technical education and world languages. Its library media center contains more than 12,000 books, student and professional magazines, videotapes and laser discs, computer stations, a scanner, and digital cameras. Its extracurricular activities include the art, knitting, yoga, science and performing arts club, as well as various sports.
