A friend told me about Hobson 4 yrs ago saying they seemed friendly and knew what they were doing. I can't believe I signed a maintenance contract with them on the very first visit. I am a widow and wanted to make sure that if there were a problem on a wkend or at nite, someone would come. I was to have a free maintenance check twice a yr. These never did turn out to be free as there was always a problem or might be and required additional equipment or work done. The last time I had a maint check appt. I asked that they just do what absolutely had to be done and that I didn't want to pay a dime or hear about anything not being optimum, etc. That tech found nothing-cost-nothing. When I asked them in June why I had no maint appt for spring, told it not due till anniversary in July Never called me for appt in July . A/C froze a few wks ago and Hobson couldn't send someone til next day and not sure when(eventho' silver contract holder). Used someone else-small co-2 employees. THEY both came day I called (at 7pm) and were very reasonable. Called to cancel my contract yesterday & told required 30 day notice. Had them blocked from my credit card for the next and subsequent debits.. .SHADY Feel like a fool for letting it go on for so long Also, prev reviewer made a mistake on his # of stars for Crooked As Snakes

This company keeps calling me almost every day and when I pick up the phone no one is on the other end. When they have been on the phone they keep trying to sell us a system even when we have told them we have bought a new system from another company. They just keep calling and won't take no for an answer. I am glad we did not buy anything from them and certainly would not recommend them to any one.
