Deephaven Elementary School, located in Wayzata, Minn., offers academic programs to more than 500 students in grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as performing arts, physical education, English, mathematics, computers, social studies and foreign languages. In addition, the school offers training classes in reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. It also provides a wide variety of extracurricular activities that include field trips, dance, drama, Odyssey of the Mind, a band, chorus, student council, peer mediators and yearbook. The facilities offered by the school include a library, media center and art studio. The school is a part of the Minnetonka Public Schools District 276.
